We are committed to advocacy work at the state and federal level and financially support this work each year. While we do everything we can to advocate for camps, it is our responsibility as an industry to ensure that all voices are heard legislatively. Connecticut Camping Association
The CCA is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors who meet regularly to advocate for the needs of summer camps in the state.
MCA is the leading professional voice for the Massachusetts’ camping industry. The organization is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and retains the services of a well established lobbying firm to further the efforts of implementing legislative change in the state.
New Hampshire Camp Directors Association (NH Camps)
NH camps works closely with state agencies to ensure positive camp experiences and retains a lobbyist who monitors state legislative issues that affect New Hampshire camps.
NJ Camps support the camp industry in the state of New Jersey by monitoring and responding to all legislation and regulation that may impact children’s camps in the state.
New York State Camp Directors Association (NYSCDA)
NYSCDA represents the children’s camp industry in New York State by monitoring and responding to all legislation and regulation that might impact camps in the state.
PACA monitors Pennsylvania’s legislative affairs and agendas and informs its members when there is upcoming legislation that will impact PA camps.
Rhode Island Association of Camps
The Rhode Island Association of Camps (RIAC) was formed in 1995 in order to promote the values of purposeful, high quality, professionally directed youth camping to the general public.
Vermont Camp Association (VCA)
VCA is a group of owners, directors and camp professionals working with organized youth camps and is dedicated to legislative lobby efforts that impact Vermont summer camps.
