Our affinity and special interest groups give members a chance to join a space to connect and share ideas with camp professionals with a common interest.  Explore our current groups and join for support, networking and learning pertaining to you and your program.

BIPOC (Black Indigenous, & People of Color)

The purpose of this affinity group is to cultivate black and brown leaders in the outdoor education/camping field and serve as a space for black and brown camp professionals to meet and share experiences

Directors’ Roundtable

These roundtable discussions are a great way for directors to share ideas and problem solve with peers about challenges and hot topics in camping.

EPIC (Emerging Professionals in Camping)

This group is specifically for up-and coming camp professionals seeking job growth.  EPICS enjoy meeting and learning from each other through social, educational and philanthropic gatherings.

Special Interest Group Meetings at Tri-State

We offer more than nine special interest group meetings at the Tri-State CAMP Conference where you can form meaningful connections to others who share a common thread. From special needs camping to access/disability camping to 2SLGBTQ+ Camping groups to more, Tri-State is a great space for connecting with others.

Gather will other women in the camp community dedicated to professional development, meaningful networking and female empowerment.

VOCE (Veterans of the Camp Experience)

This group is intended for those camp professionals who have had ultimate operational authority at their camp for five years or more and are looking to network and socialize with fellow camp directors in similar roles.
