There are various ways to get involved with our association and we are a stronger industry when all voices are represented.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We wouldn’t be able to operate our standards program, professional development conferences, including the Tri-State CAMP Conference, and our other offerings without the dedication of our volunteers. We are always looking for new voices and different perspectives. Whether you have a lot of time or just a few hours, we want to hear from you!
While we do everything we can to advocate for camps, it is our responsibility as an industry to ensure that all voices are heard legislatively. If you are not already part of your local and state advocacy groups, join today!
Being an Accreditation visitor is one of the best ways to give back to the camp community, grow as a camp professional and improve your own camp by seeing how other camps operate.
Explore the various professional development opportunities and affinity groups offered each year. Join hundreds of camp professionals for expert learning, networking and personal growth.
You can make a difference in the lives of children by donating to the Scott Ralls Fund. This fund was established in memory of former President and volunteer for ACA, NY and NJ who was an incredible advocate for our industry. The fund is designated for nonprofit accredited members to be used to enhance the camp experience through capital improvements, which can be enjoyed by hundreds of campers and staff for generations to come.
