Navigating Stress and Uncertainty with the Child Mind Institute

This virtual workshop is designed to help camp staff understand how stress impacts the brain and body and to build practical tools for supporting children, families, and colleagues during times of heightened uncertainty. Participants learn to distinguish between positive, tolerable, and toxic stress, apply principles of Psychological First Aid, strengthen communication, and develop concrete “coping ahead” plans for real-world challenges. With an emphasis on community care, connection, and focusing on what we can control, this session equips camp communities to respond with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
This free webinar is for ACA, NY & NJ Members only. For questions about your membership status, please contact Jenna Dunlay.
