Our Legislative Committee is made up of representatives from each state that we have member camps in. The committee meets twice a year to discuss important legislative issues happening in each state. Please click below to read the most recent Legislative Update.
NYSCDA (New York State Camp Directors Association)
NYSCDA is a group of volunteers who represent NY State camps in Albany. They have an important task in maintaining strong connections with legislators and proactively introducing and opposing legislation to benefit camps in New York State. We encourage all camps in New York to consider becoming members of this essential group.
NJ-Camps
NJ-Camps (formerly NJC-Gap) raises money to support the camp industry in the state of New Jersey by monitoring and responding to legislation and regulations that may impact any and all children’s camps. They forge relationships with government officials and regulators, making them aware of our profound youth development and economic impact. We encourage all camps in New Jersey to consider becoming members of this essential group.
