Changes to Find-A-Camp
Dear ACA, NY and NJ Member Camps:
I hope this note finds you well. I’m writing to let you know about some changes to how our Parental Guidance Service (PGS) will be functioning moving forward.
Although I am as busy as ever speaking with parents each week about ACA, NY and NJ Accredited camps, the following changes will go into effect beginning this month:
· While I’ll still be speaking about your camp and making referrals to families, you will no longer be receiving an automated referral email from me. This is because we are revamping our website and therefore, referral emails will not be automatically generated.
· Instead, you will be receiving a personal email from me which will include the family’s information and any further details about my conversation with them.
· As of 2020, we eliminated all referral fees for members of ACA, NY and NJ. This is just one of the many benefits of being a member of our affiliate.
· The Find-A-Camp function of our website is no longer functioning while we reconfigure our website. In the meantime, parents will be directed to the ACA Inc. Find-A-Camp website so please make sure all your information is consistently up to date on that site.
· As your age groups and sessions are filled, please refer those families to me so I can help them find an alternative to your camp.
To ensure that you don’t miss an email about a potential camper, please take the time to fill out this brief form to update who at your camp should be receiving referral emails from me.
As always, I am here for you and I want to hear from you about your program, any changes happening at your camp or anything else you would like to share. This information is always helpful in order to best understand your camp and properly describe it to families.
